MEMORIAL JEWELLERY · BOLTON
Carry themwith you, always.
Losing someone changes everything. What you choose to keep close after that is deeply personal.
At Breaking Hearts Jewels, we create memorial jewellery using ashes, hair, and breast milk, made entirely in our Bolton studio by Saskia. Whether you want something permanent welded onto you, or a beautiful ready-to-wear piece you can put on every morning, we will make it with the care it deserves.
This is not something we rush. Ever.
"Made entirely in our Bolton studio. No sending away. No waiting weeks. Just something personal, done properly."
WHAT WE WORK WITH
Three ways to carry
someone close.
Every material is handled with complete care and respect. We work with you every step of the way so the piece feels exactly right.
-
01
ASHES
A small amount of cremation ashes are carefully infused into resin and set into your piece. The result is subtle, beautiful, and completely unique to the person you are honouring.
-
02
HAIR or FUR
Whether it is a few strands of hair or a little fur from a beloved pet, we preserve it in resin and set it into your piece. Close to you every time you wear it.
-
03
BREAST MILK
A piece that marks one of the most personal chapters of your life. Breast milk is preserved and set beautifully, so that chapter stays with you long after it ends.

- Bracelets, necklaces, rings and more— we will find the right style for you during your consultation.
"I had the most amazing experience today with Saskia. She made me a permanent bracelet and added my Uncle Frankie's ashes into it who is sadly no longer with us. It's absolutely perfect!! He will be with me forever now"

QUESTIONS
Things people usually ask.
How much material do you need?
Very little. A small amount of ashes, a few strands of hair, or a small quantity of breast milk is all we need. We will talk you through exactly how to prepare and send it to us during your consultation.
Is everything done in your studio?
Yes, completely. We do not send your material away to a third party. Everything is made by Saskia in our Bolton studio, which means your material is handled by one person, with complete care, from start to finish.
How long does it take?
Timescales vary depending on the piece. We will give you a clear timeline during your consultation so you always know where things are up to.
Can I get a permanent memorial piece?
Yes. We offer memorial jewellery as both permanent and ready-to-wear pieces. If you want it welded directly onto you, we can absolutely do that. We will talk through both options and find what feels right for you.
I am not sure I am ready. Can I still get in touch?
Of course. There is absolutely no pressure to book or commit to anything. If you just want to ask a question or find out more, send us a message and we will go from there at whatever pace feels right for you.
READY WHEN YOU ARE
There is no right time.Only when it feels right.
Whenever you are ready to talk about a memorial piece, we are here. No pressure, no rush. Just a conversation with someone who genuinely cares about getting it right.
